Launching a Telegram-Based Blockchain Game With Rapid User Growth
A startup in the blockchain gaming sector approached AgileTech with a vision to build a casual, Telegram-native game that could serve as a gateway into Web3. The client aimed to capture the growing market of crypto-curious users by offering an engaging tap-to-earn experience with light blockchain mechanics and a path toward deeper tokenized features.
The Product
A lightweight, idle-style casino simulation game accessible via Telegram. Players earn coins by tapping and investing in in-game assets to grow passive income. Additional features like referral rewards, lucky wheel betting, and daily quests create depth and engagement. Future roadmap includes:
- Wallet-based daily bonus claims
- Coupon codes for event-based bonuses
- Purchasable spin tickets and gamified reward packs
AgileTech’s Role
AgileTech was responsible for the end-to-end development of the product, from technical architecture to frontend UI and admin tools. We worked in 2-week Agile sprints to ensure fast delivery and iteration based on user feedback. Key deliverables included:
- Cross-platform mini-app frontend
- Scalable backend supporting concurrent users
- Real-time admin dashboard
- Support for Telegram Bot API and wallet-ready infrastructure

Technologies Used
- Frontend: ReactJS, NextJS, TailwindCSS, Ant Design, Jotai
- Mobile Support: Flutter, Dio, Firebase
- Backend: NodeJS (NestJS), PostgreSQL, Prisma
- Caching & Messaging: Redis, RabbitMQ
Technical Highlights
- Telegram’s bot interface required creative UI/UX design to simulate mobile-style interactivity.
- Redis-based caching and RabbitMQ queues enabled the backend to handle traffic spikes during viral user growth.
- Built an event-driven admin dashboard for mission configuration, promotions, and in-app content management—reducing dependency on dev teams.
Key Achievements
- Time to Market: Delivered MVP in just 4 months.
- User Growth: Reached 30,000 users in the first week; over 200,000 users within 3 months.
- Performance: Zero major outages despite viral adoption and high concurrency.
- Engagement: High session times due to offline income, luck-based mechanics, and social referrals.
- Admin Independence: Non-technical admins could launch quests, banner promotions, and in-game events without backend changes.
Ongoing Support
- Continuous product optimization and bug fixes
- Advisory on blockchain features such as wallet claims and smart contract triggers
- Backend performance monitoring and scaling adjustments
- UI/UX enhancements based on usage data
By blending familiar idle-game mechanics with blockchain-ready infrastructure, this Telegram-based platform demonstrated how casual experiences can be powerful gateways into Web3. With over 200,000 users already engaged and new monetization features on the horizon, the foundation is set for long-term growth.
